THREE ANTIQUE TIN-GLAZED DRUG JARS 18th century, the first is an Italian majolica mulberry syrup dispenser with label "Syr De Mororum" in the midst of reserves featuring flora and polychrome landscapes (8 in.) (repaired spout; rim and base foot chips; handle with glaze scrape); second an Italian drug jar, probably Savona, for a clove distillation, labeled in manganese between decorative bands of blue loops, wide mouth and foot (9 in.) (slight rim chips); covered jar, likely English, with manganese design of a crown above label "No 2", applied corbels at the rim, domed cover with flame finial (13 in.) (repair to finial and inner cover rim: repair to rim at crown; other small nicks/scrapes.).

A Tin Glazed Earthenware Apothecary Jar The delftware wet drug jar apprx. 7-1/2"H pedestal container with an applied handle and crooked spout hand decorated with blue foliate designs with an ornately lettered name in Latin around the middle. Oxmiel Semplice was a mixture of honey and vinegar used as a curative for many ills such as coughs sore throats upset stomachs bites and burns.
