A French M.1822 percussion service pistol lock stamped Mre Rle de St Etienne barrel stamped 1823 C de 17-6A stock stamped Tulle regulation brass mounts Estimate ?100-200 General tarnishing and some pitting to the steel barrel hammer and lockplate wood generally scuffed and scratched but essentially ok mechanism ok clearly named on the side of the lockplate and clearly proof marked also and with other stamped numbers particularly to the wood 914GULL0 although the last letter is indistinct ramrod may not be original some knocks to the aperture of the barrel but overall ok. Two of the screws may not be original. Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear imperfections or the effects of aging. Carved mahogany base with gilt brass openwork mounts, marked "Pairpoint" and "C 3091" underneath the base. Three original sockets with pull chains with bell finials.

Dumonthier Pinfire Knife Pistol .11mm pinfire 6'' barrel S/N 253. With a 12'' clipped-point blade that is 6'' longer than the barrel; 18'' overall length. Knife blade with etched panels on both sides of the blade. The blade is marked on the left side of barrel Dumonthier. Lanyard ring in the butt walnut grips. Condition: Metal is nice and sharp with nice untouched brown patina. Grips are very dark with some nicks and dings. Etched panels are visible.
