Including antique, each is decorated in blue depicting Neptune, a mermaid, merman, fish, and whales, as well as one depicting figures aboard a ship and whale, another a houseboat and dwelling. All are in contemporary frames. Crazing and some light stains; two tiles each have damaged corners. 5" square. ESTIMATE $400-600

Tiles approx. 12.25'' h x 18.25'' w. Frame approx. 16.75'' h x 22.75'' w.
CONDITION: Crazing to glaze of tiles consistent with age.

GROUPING OF ANTIQUE DUTCH DELFT TILES 17th-18th century, first a framed set of two tiles in cobalt on tin-glazed ground, circa 1630, each depicting a nautical scene with fisherman (6 x 11 1/8 in. framed); second a framed set of two tiles in manganese on tin-glazed ground, also with nautical scenes (7 x 12 in. framed); third a group of four unframed tiles, also in manganese, to include a biblical tile of Samson carrying the gate, a still life, a maritime scene, and resting cows in landscape (largest 5 3/8 in.).
