  SAFETY HARBOR ESPIRITU SANTO 5 GAL WATER JUGLong ago there were 6 or so mineral springs bubbling out of a small area in what became Safety Harbor, at the north end of Tampa Bay. A sanitarium existed briefly on the spot, and now the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa is built over the springs and offers healthful mineral water baths and drinks. Mineral Water was bottled and sold from there in 5 gallon glass jugs in the past. This jug has in raised letters: "Espirito Water, Espiritu Santo Springs, Inc, Safety Harbor, Fla". This jug probably dates from the 1920s and is in excellent condition- no chips, clean, though there are some mineral deposits on the bottom left after the final water evaporated from the jug.
