Cast iron eagle, four mounting holes on top and four on base, 10-1/4 x 30 x 13 in., mounted on painted wooden board. Scattered rust, traces old black paint, traces original gilding under paint. Said to have been from The Mountain Lily (steamship which ran on French Broad River for short period of time in 1880s); Dodge Collection.
