Bone grip with normal separations; 3 in. loss to tip of scabbard, other repairs to scabbard (scabbard fragile; handle with care).

1790s American Officer's Eagle Head Sabre 28.5'' x 1.5'' blue and gold gilt blade with panoply of arms 3/4 fuller slotted guard. Blade marked Warranted indicating British mfg. Ebony handle with a couple small worm holes. Leather scabbard. Condition: Retains ca 40-50% blue 70% gold gilt. Scabbard is complete but has lots of crazing. Overall very good condition.

THREE US 19TH CENTURY EAGLE HEAD SWORDS Group of three eagle head bone handled swords, first, a sabre with a decorated blade with gilding, including floral and patriotic symbols to top of blade near the guard has the #20 stamped into the metal; second sword is a sabre with a small eagle head pommel the lower banding collar has a grape vine motif, the faintly etched blade shows florals and an eagle flanked by 13 stars, the third sword is an officer?s dress sword, with a small eagle head pommel held in by a plain copper collar with bone grip and lower stamped collar showing grapes and grape leaves, rain guards on both sides show patriotic symbolism of pikes and flags.
