Height: 68" Width: 59 1/2" Note: Charles Eames (American 1907-1978) and Ray Eames (American 1912-1988) were the rare husband and wife team whose barrier busting designs set a standard for modern residential and commercial interiors. Many if not most of their designs became iconic with elegant, clean, simple and sometimes playful lines, yet light and of new materials or traditional materials, useful as well as portable, resulting in their work standing the test of time. The folding screen offered here fits these tenets perfectly and was originally designed by this brilliant couple in 1946. Provenance: Estate of the late Drs.
