A Knights Templar Ceremonial Sword, ca. turn of 20th Century Having a knight's head pommel, monogrammed bone/ivory hilt; the blade and sheath engraved with name of owner and Knights Templar symbols. Blade engraved with maker's name "The M.C. Lilley & Co. Columbus Ohio" which was used in 1882-1925, and stamped "Germany". The original sheath and guard decorated with applied metal Knights Templar symbols and scrolls; with three metal suspension rings. Measures approx. 37-1/4"L.

An early 19th century Naval officer's sword with 29 inch blade engraved with crowned GR cypher with wire bound ivory group and lion's head pommel 34ins Estimate ?100-150 Blade with light tarnishing to the surface throughout light rubbing to the higher areas of the surface towards the tip and with some pitting to the surface mostly towards the 4 inches of the tip end of the blade gilt details to the lower section of the blade is ok. Some slight pitted sections to the back of the blade but nothing overly serious general wear to the gilt surface on the pommel guard and quillons etc. Ivory with many small hairline cracks and two chips to below the lions head pommel a fracture to the guard at the lower angled corner.
