EARLY NATIVE AMERICAN NORTHWEST BASKETRY BOWL Hupa people, Northern California, late 19th c. finely woven grass, tall sided with whipped rim, having geometric designs in brown and black on natural ground, sunflower recessed foot, 5 1/4" x 7" diam. One short break below the rim. Old tag indicates this was part of the Nancy Prince collection, purchased 1915-16 when Marion Rogers visited the West.
