• SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED
  SEMI-ANTIQUE PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG 9' 10 x 18' 9'': This palace size rug has a traditional open field design with a central medallion that is found in many Kerman rugs. There are a few sprays of flowers on the pretty red field and the edge of the field has a broken border design with ivory pale blue pink beige and a deep blue. The colors and the size make this a dramatic statement rug.CONDITION: There are some stains mostly along the sides.
• MODERN CHINESE HAND KNOTTED WOOL
  MODERN CHINESE HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG 42'' x 72'': Black ground with center circular medallion composed of peach pink green and mauve flowers. Corners of the field have a large peach flower overlaid between the edge of the field and the main border. The main border has an ivory ground with lattice work motif interspersed with vines of leaves and flowers. Condition is good.
• PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG 4'
  PERSIAN HAND KNOTTED WOOL RUG 4' 8'' x 7' 3'': This very pretty rug has a traditional medallion design in red orange and medium blue on a deep blue ground that is also covered with a radiating design of flower heads leaves and palmettes attached by vines. The corners of the field have a red orange and ivory ground like that found in the main border. The overall effect is very pleasing. Condition is there is an area that has a stain near to one end that is on the edge of the field and into the border. • MODERN INDO-CHINESE HAND KNOTTED
  MODERN INDO-CHINESE HAND KNOTTED WOOL ROUND RUG 8' circle: A pastel round rug with an ivory field that has a pale blue medallion surrounded by a tracery design of flowers and vines with birds done in colors of pale pink blue green and beige. The same tracery design is found on the edge of the field as well as in the border of the rug. There is an interesting motif of vases on stands with pairs of love birds on top. This design alternates with smaller vases of flowers. Round rugs are difficult to weave and are not as common as rectangular shaped rugs. Condition is good.
• MODERN TURKISH HEREKE HAND
  MODERN TURKISH HEREKE HAND KNOTTED SILK ON SILK RUG 3' 2'' x 3' 2'': This incredibly finely knotted (400-500 knots per square inch!) silk rug shows the highest level of a weavers ability. Everything comes together the colors the design and the fineness of the weave to create a tour de force work of art. The central design of the rug uses small varied colored flower heads to create circles that radiate out from the center to the edge of the field. A ''broken'' border of medallions pointing inward draws your eye back to the center and the small guard borders create the rest of the frame for this small masterpiece. Condition is very good.
