VICTORIAN E.G. WEBSTER & SON SILVER PLATED CENTERPIECEDESCRIPTION: An antique E.G. Webster & Son silver plated footed centerpiece. This Victorian centerpiece has a silver plated figural base designed as a winged cherub angel holding a torch with both hands, and a hand painted green & light blue glass bowl with a ruffled rim. It is further embellished with hand painted floral decorations and gold gilt accents. With "E.G. Webster Quadruple Plate" engraved inscriptions on the bottom. Elizur G. Webster (1829 - October 9, 1900) was an American silversmith and the founder of E. G. Webster & Son. CIRCA: 19th Century. ORIGIN: USA. DIMENSIONS: H: 14 1/2" W: 11 1/8". Have a similar item to sell? While navigating up the James River to Fort Morgan in July of 1862 the Daniel Webster was fired upon by Confederate forces. There were no injuries.

WEBSTER SCHOOL, ATTRIBUTED CHESTER WEBSTER (1799-1882 RANDOLPH COUNTY, NC), ONE GALLON JUG Circa 1870s, (after Webster left the employ of B.Y. Craven, he likely executed this jug while working in Randolph County), salt glazed stoneware with double lip over a slim neck, tapered ovoid form with applied arched grooved strap handle, finely decorated with an incised hook-winged bird on a branch, the capacity within a circle at the shoulder above the bird and over the ring turnings, allover desirable orange peel effect to the salt-glaze along with fly ash.
