Egyptian, varying dates, green faience and mosaic stone. Fourteen (14) articles.
Three (3) New Kingdom pieces: a square amulet depicting the head of Hathor over two Uraei facing outward, 1550-1069 BC; an eye form amulet bead, 1554-1075 BC; and a hieroglyphic scarab seal with Horus falcon, 1570-1070 BC (1 1/8 in.).
Four (4) Late Period style pieces: a square Pharaoh Thutmose III cartouche pendant, 664-332 BC (1 1/4 x 75 in.); a scarab bead (1 1/8 in.); a square amulet of six scarabs with hieroglyphs to verso; and a diminutive amulet of Tyet (Isis Knot), 664-332 BC.
Also included are a Ptolemaic to Roman Period style faience figure of Bes (1 3/8 in.); an unidentified shell and floral impressed tile; an unidentified echinoid fossil-like bead; three (3) Byzantine Egypt stone tesserae (mosaic stones); and a coral fragment.
