Shotgun has age appropriate wear with areas of discoloration and finish loss. Some of the scrws have been replaced. Barrel is not the standard length. Rear stock has hairline crack and slightly loose to the frame. Clean bore. See images for more details on condition. This item can be shipped in-house. Half Stock Percussion Rifle by ''E. D.'' .31 cal. 39'' octagonal barrel with nicely made brass under rib. Top of barrel signed with the initials E. D. engraved in script. Josp Golcher marked forward action percussion lock. Double-set triggers with brass furniture. Nicely striped curly maple stock. Comes with original leather hunting bag and powder horn. ''E. D.'' could be Edward Day of Trumbull County. Condition: Barrel has a nice untouched brown patina with some staining and pitting around the percussion drum and nipple. Lock and hammer have a brown patina mixing with some pitting. Stock with most of the original finish blending with a dark patina. A crack in stock on right side forward of the lock about 3'' long running at a diagonal from lock to the barrel. Brass furniture has a dark untouched patina. Leather hunting bag is complete with some cracking and crazing. It contains percussion cap cans and mold. Horn is in excellent condition.

*Austrian Ferlach Double-Barrel Shotgun .20 ga. 26" barrels choked IC/Mod S/N 1143. Automatic ejectors walnut checkered stock with Monte Carlo cheek piece walnut checkered beavertail fore end. Receiver features fabulous scroll engraving with deeply relief engraved game scenes including pheasants in flight on left panel grouse on right panel and a duck in flight on the bottom. The triggerguard is elaborately engraved with florals and scrolls and features a castle in the center oval. Condition: Excellent condition with excellent bores.? It retains most of its original barrel blue with only some thinning at the breech end of the barrels from carry wear.?The wood is excellent.?This is a fine gun which is ready for the field.?Buy this gun for far less money than a comparable example would cost to produce today.

Case colored lock marked with an eagle and U.S. Springfield and dated 1864. ?Walnut stock?with a oval cartouche of HCH.? Condition: Barrel is bright with some very light staining.??Breechblock retains most of the blackened finish. Lockplate?and hammer retain most of the case coloring just slightly faded. ?Stock is excellent with nice cartouche and open-grained look.

PERCUSSION LOCK SINGLE-BARREL SHOTGUN, 20 BORE A single barrel, percussion lock shotgun of unknown manufacture. The firearm sports a long octagonal to round barrel mounted in a simple wood stock with straight hand grip and engraved lockplate. The lockplate features floral engravings along with an image of two pheasants behind the hammer as well as the manufacturers name which is almost entirely worn off. The shotgun is in overall poor condition as the barrel lug has broken off in the stock with only the rear tang keeping it mounted in the furniture and there is pitting and surface rust throughout. The ram rod is also missing.

Cased Remington Beals lst Model 3rd Issue Percussi .31 cal. 3'' octagonal barrel S/N 983. Brass triggerguard gutta percha grips. Partitioned mahogany case with red lining eagle and shield flask loader and cleaning rod mold. Photographed on page 76 of Remington's First Revolvers by Charles Schif (2007). He refers to this as a dealer casing. Condition: Barrel and cylinder with traces of blue finish fading to a plum. Frame is a nice untouched brown with some minute traces of blue around the hand. Grips are excellent. Case and accessories are excellent; flask appears to have been cleaned.

Two-line Hartford address; two-line patent markings on the left side of frame with 38 caliber markings on the triggerguard. Nickel finish blued trigger screws wedge case colored hammer varnished walnut grips. Engraved on the backstrap Adams Express Co Sacramento Cal. Complete with a period black holster trimmed in red leather piping. Condition: Revolver retains 95% of the original nickel finish with just a small amount flaking on the bottom of triggerguard and on the backstrap. Engraving was cut through the nickel but is period engraving. Grips retain most of the varnish with some scuffing to the outer edges. Holster has some scuffing and loose trim on the flap.

Condition: Barrel and action retains 90% of the original blue finish. Breechblock with traces of case color mostly turning brown. Walnut stock has had a coat of Tru-oil applied. Still retains a good cartouche; the stock has a cut out where the receiver sight was added. Bore is excellent.
