French faience armorial plates.
French faience armorial plates. Both measures 9.6'' in diameter and have a polychrome glazed finish. One plate is decorated with a balance scale coat of arms reads ''Tout est reuni'' (Everything is convened) and is dated 1791. The second plate has a fluer-de-lis coat of arms with ''Union Force'' (Union Strength) below and is dated 1789. Both plates have a ''GA'' or ''AG'' stylized mark on verso and have holed in base rims with wires for hanging. Condition: small chip and skip to glaze on underside of rim on ''Tout est reuni'' plate very small flakes to glaze on base of ''Union force'' plate see images for details. Shipping weight 2.1 lbs.
