The box is approx. 5-1/4" x 5-1/4" x 4-1/4"H with a chamfered shape lid with applied celeste blue champleve ornaments and with cast swan figures at each corner. It also has a working lock with the key. The interior is upholstered in pale pink moire, and fitted with four cut crystal perfume flasks with glass stoppers covered by gilt metal screw-on lids.
