ENFIELD MUSKET. England made ''Tower'' musket .58 caliber round barrel 39'' long. Lock plate has ''TOWER'' written over ''1863'' forward of the hammer. British Crown hallmark just to the rear. Four separate hallmarks also visible on the left side of the barrel. Butt plate trigger guard and stock end cap all in brass. Ramrod is steel front sight fixed and rear sight adjustable. Over-all condition is good. Just one medium size crack in the fore stock.

Brass mounted with walnut stock. Condition: Barrel is smooth brown patina with some pitting around the percussion nipple and bolster. Lock and hammer are smooth brown with sharp lines. Brass has nice untouched patina. Stock is excellent with some nicks and dings.

Lockplate marked Barnett London. Walnut stock marked on the left flat of stock opposite of the lock R.T.P. Condition: Barrel ramrod stock has been shortened at some time in its life. Barrel is a dark brown with pitting around the percussion bolster and breech. Lock is smooth an dark brown. Hammer has pitting around the face. Brass has nice untouched patina. Stock has some nicks and dings.
