LATE 19TH CENTURY 5 ½" x 6 ½" x 6" Pair of compressed bombey urn shape porcelain vessels with domed lids with relief cross and wide finial, handles with rope loop, cartouches on the sides with gold "FH" cypher, flanked with relief scroll design; hand painted in magenta with continuous low relief vine-leaf and scrolls, hand painted in blue "FH" cypher in reserve on the front with low relief gold design ground; no marks found, possibly a custom order. Provenance: old private collection, Sewickley, PA, by descent in the family to the current owner.
