VICTORIAN ENGLISH STERLING TEAPOTmade by Robinson, Edkins & Aston at Birmingham in 1843, of lobed form on foliate feet with leaf and persimmon lid finial together with a heavy Georgian cream jug made in London circa 1827 (date letter and maker's mark rubbed) with bands of Rococo decoration, natural material insulators on an "S" form handle and lion armorial crest. Teapot 6" high x 11" x 7" and 677 grams. Jug 6" high x 5" x 3 1/2" and 298 grams.

Hallmark on underside for William Chawner, London 1840-41; lid with lion and leopard head hallmarks and maker's mark WH (lid does not appear to have had any alterations).
