Engraved Model 1860 Colt Army Percussion Revolver .44 cal. 8'' round barrel S/N 188946. All numbers match except the wedge. With I P markings under the serial number on the triggerguard and on the bottom of backstrap. Engraving on barrel frame triggerguard and backstrap. Ivory grips. On left side of grips is engraved '72. Condition: All metal is sharp and crisp with a nice grey-to-brown patina. Cylinder scene is very sharp with the cylinder pins still showing on the back of cylinder. Ivory grips with nice dark yellow patina. Nice sharp factory engraved Army revolver.

Serial number matches on wedge but none on cylinder. Good mechanical action. There is a small letter s on the smooth portion of the cylinder.

ENGRAVED COLT MODEL 1851 NAVY REVOLVER. Fourth model .36 caliber six-shot cylinder 7 1/2'' octagonal barrel with Hartford address. Engraved frame and brass trigger guard and ivory grips with inlaid brass shield reading ''Capt. JBP.'' S/n 101051. Most of the plating worn off the brass some light pitting and minor corrosion. Accompanied by factory letter.

Engraved Manhatten Second Model Revolver .22 cal. 3'' octagonal barrel S/N 5211. Blued barrel silver-plated frame with rosewood grips. Nicely engraved barrel and frame. Condition: Barrel retaining 60% of the original blue finish thinning with some brown patina. Frame retains 90% silver with some flaking on the backstrap. Rosewood grips are excellent with some nicks and dings.

ENGRAVED REMINGTON NEW MODEL CONVERSION REVOLVER. .38 caliber six-shot cylinder 6 1/2'' octagonal barrel nickel-plated and engraved and ivory grips. S/n 5307. The backstrap is engraved ''E.T. Gunn.'' Bore fairly clean action smooth retains 80+% of its original plating with scattered light pitting and corrosion marks with some wear but still readable age cracks to the ivory grips.

Unmarked powder flask and bullet mold. Condition: Very good condition with a very good bore. The engraving is nice quality the grips are nice and the revolver is mechanically excellent.

Factory Engraved Remington-Beals 2nd Model Percuss .31 cal. 3'' octagonal barrel S/N 350. Factory engraved etched cylinder checkered gutta percha grips. This revolver is illustrated on page 89 of Remington's First Revolvers by Charles Schif (2007). One of the seven known engraved 2nd Model pocket revolvers. Condition: Barrel is grey-to-brown with traces of blue finish and some light pitting on the left flat of barrel. Cylinder is very sharp and crisp with a nice untouched brown patina. Frame is sharp with nice brown patina. Grips show use with old repaired crack through the escutcheon.

ENGRAVED SMITH AND WESSON MODEL NO. 1 1/2 REVOLVER. .32 caliber five-shot cylinder 3 1/2'' round barrel nickel-plated and floral-engraved finish mother-of-pearl grips. S/n 81156. Accompanying this revolver is a factory letter indicating that ten engraved Model 1 1/2 revolvers were among a large shipment to M.W. Robinson of New York in October of 1872. Retains better than 80-90% plating marks clear engraving crisp bore has minor oxidation smooth action.

Engraved with scrolls and banners; engraved in banner on the left side of barrel is U.S. Air Force; on the cylinder is engraved four stars on each of the flats; engraved in a banner on the left side of frame above triggerguard is 18 Sept 1947. Black ebony-style grips with silver engraved medallions with the initials USAF. On the bottom of triggerguard is engraved USAF008. Condition: Revolver has been re-nickeled and engraved.

ENGRAVED COLT MODEL 1849 POCKET REVOLVER. .31 caliber five-shot cylinder 5'' octagonal barrel engraved frame and ivory grips. S/n 146805. Engraved on the right side of the grip is ''H.D.W. '' which according to tradition stands for Henry D. Wallen (1819-1886). Wallen graduated from West Point in 1840 and served in Florida and the West including during the Mexican War and served in the 7th US Infantry during the Civil War during which time he was brevetted lieutenant-colonel then colonel and finally brigadier-general. Though he spent some time in the East following the War he returned west and was part of the 1872 Yellowstone Expedition. All serial numbers match.

Retains about 50% of the plating on the frame and about 10-20% of the bluing on the barrel older finish on the grips a few spots of light corrosion engraving still sharp barrel mark worn but still readable action is stiff and when the lever is cocked the hammer does not always remain in the cocked position. NOTE: retains a letter from Arnold Marcus Chernoff to Steve Romanoff dated 1981 about this gun--it was advertised in The Gun Report in April 1981 and is ex Calhoon Norton.

Cylinder with a nice light brown patina; very sharp and crisp scene with about 70% of the scene still visible. Ivory grips with a nice yellow patina. Overall very sharp and crisp revolver.

Condition: Barrel is mostly plum with traces of blue bleeding through.?Frame and buttplate retain most of the silver that has oxidized.?Stock is excellent with some nicks and dings.?Overall a very rare variation with this style of engraving and a very sharp and crisp rifle.
