Pottery Works Little Wst 12th St. N.Y., with a large cobalt depiction of two Civil War officers playing the drum and fife, flanking a keg with two tankards on top, 12 3/4" h. Known for his figural decoration, the present example stands out as Macquoid's most ambitious work known.
