Several hand written labels verso identifying the artist and the painting stating that it was finished in April of 1951 a red tag "Let Dry" and a label from Macbeth Gallery in New York where the artist exhibited his paintings. In an interview article in American Artist magazine in 1948 Gleitsmann wrote "The steeples and spires that are found in most of my paintings have been taken as symbols of hope and rebirth."Proceeds to benefit the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center.
