JOHN E. HUSZER FARM COW LANDSCAPE PAINTING Rhode Island1912-1983Impressionist depiction of a herd of cows grazing in a field beside a river where a figure in yellow stands at the bank. Huszer studied at the National Academy of Design and the Arts Students League in New York, later moving to New England to teach art. He is credited as being the founder of the Wickford Art Festival in Wickford, Rhode Island, an event that is still held yearly.
