Both porcelain figurines are mounted on a metal base lamp. The female figure wears a red and green hat combining with a hand painted light blue, pink and yellow costume gown. She is holding a lotus flower on her left hand and a basket of lotus flowers on her right arm. She is sided by a small sheep by her right side. The male figurine represents an ancient wise man with wisdom long white beard, he is holding a stick on his left hand and a flower on his right hand. He is aided by a tall white bird. His costumes are made of handpainted colorful fabrics with characteristic antique chinese motifs. CIRCA: Mid 20th Century. ORIGIN: China. DIMENSIONS: Base is: W: 7 1/2" D: 6". Lamp is H: 23".
