4 EUROPEAN POTTERY ITEMS, MAJOLICA4 EUROPEAN POTTERY ITEMS, MAJOLICA & LONGWY1st-2nd items: Two (2) majolica hand-painted portrait tiles, likely Italian, depicting Renaissance-style bust portraits of a male and female with scrolling foliate border to lower edge. Unmarked. Both mounted to wooden panels with hanging loops, en verso. Tiles approximately 13" H x 6 1/2" W x 1 1/4" D. Panels: 15" H x 9 1/2" W x 1" D. Late 19th/early 20th century. 3rd-4th items: Two (2) Emaux de Longwy, France enamel pottery items, including one (1) centerpiece bowl with scrolling foliate decorations on a blue ground, a scalloped rim, and two handles (2 3/4" H x 10 3/4" W); and one (1) square tile depicting a tropical scene with birds in a quatrefoil border on a blue ground housed in a wooden frame (9 3/4" square). Green maker's mark stamp and additional numeral ink inscriptions to underside of bowl. Circa 1955-85.
