TAMPA BAY HOTEL MINARET CRESCENT MOONOriginal crescent moon finial from the Tampa Bay Hotel (now the University of Tampa), circa 1890. Constructed of wood with tin overlay, with thick layers of paint, very loose and flaking. Some tin loss, mostly in two areas about 10" from the bottom where the mounting rod is inserted. The crescent measures about 27" across horizontally and 3-1/2" thick. Would be a good candidate for a restoration.
