Marcotte, 22nd Canadian Infantry, a silver maple leaf medal, a silver King George medal and ribbon marked to Marcotte, a victory medal and ribbon, a cap insignia, a New Hampshire award for WWI service in the original case, Marcotte's military papers and pay book, and a map of France in the map case.

A 3'' x 4'' printed paper label is affixed to the upper margin from the Dublin nautical goods supplier McAuley & Hughes. Condition: Scattered minor stains. One 2.5'' vertical tear at upper center.

CAMPAIGN POSTER FOR SIR JOHN A. MACDONALDA campaign poster for Sir John A. MacDonald, "The Old Flag, The Old Policy, The Old Leader", published by The Industrial League and printed by the Toronto Litho Company. This poster was the property of John Robinson, born in Maynard, north of Prescott, who became a painter and paper hanger around 1860. This poster was loaned by the Robinson family to the Grenville Historical Society for its Centennial Confederation celebration (stamped with Historical Society mark). To be sold with 2 notices printed by Robinson offering a reward against damage to any of his poster / bill hangings. In good condition and strong colours as it has been stored in a hand soldered tin tube. Ex Lawless collection. Dimensions, 42" x 28". FRANCAIS: Affiche de John A. [Flags and Patriotic Textiles] 38-Star American Parade Flags Lot of 7 glazed cotton printed parade flags each with 38 stars configured in 7/6/6/6/6/7 horizontal rows six flags measuring 6.75'' x 9.75'' affixed to 18'' dowels one measuring 17.5'' x 12'' affixed to a 23.5'' dowel. Colorado was admitted as the 38th state in 1876 and no other states were admitted until the Dakotas in 1889. These flags were found inside the walls of a building in Iowa which was built in 1884 during demolition for remodeling. Condition: Scattered stains and color loss. Each with a horizontal ''crease'' or ''pinch'' under the topmost stripe.
