Marked ''Williams '' England late 18th-early 19th century. 14 1/4'' brass barrel with proof marks engraved brass trigger guard with acorn finial walnut stock and folding bayonet. Refinished stock. Slightly altered--see http://www.firearmscollector.com/cat/cat_details.asp?id=361 for another Williams blunderbuss that example with the folding bayonet on the underside and with a brass collar at the end of the stock. The present example has a scar from such a collar so it appears that the barrel has been flipped.
