  A North Devon pottery slipware jug 19th century sgraffito decorated with a bird in flight and flowers the neck inscribed 'For a Good Boy' 5.5.ins. Estimate ?150-200 There are typical manufacturing faults; there is a firing crack measuring 15mm long to the rim by the side of the handle the handle itself is twisted and off kilter pitting to the glaze and there is an area of loss to the clay on the foot and another area where clay is stuck to it there is general crazing to the glaze there is a fine 10mm rim crack and there is some loss to the glaze on the interior otherwise good.
