THREE-PIECE MANTEL SET. France 2nd half-19th century. Cast brass and porcelain clock and pair of urns with neoclassical enameled and hand painted designs on pink ground. The lidded urns have swags and hoof feet. The dial is faintly marked ''H. Hoederine Ft. de Bronzes...Paris'' and the brass works are marked ''Japy Freres''. Clock has imperfections. Clock 14''h. plus extra parts urns 12''h. Loose pieces of clock are included with lot but some attachment screws appear to be missing.

Mourey'' at verso. Largest Approx. 20.75'' h x 14.5'' l x 7.5'' w.
CONDITION: Currently working, but not guaranteed to keep working or accurate time. Repair to lower central foliate of both, large chip to lid of one urn, missing section of porcelain below face, wear consistent with age and use. 2 keys located in OFFICE!

Very minor wear to dial but essentially good. Movement stamped Maple & Co made in France possibly a later replacement. Looks rather dirty and dusty may require some minor attention.
