A Pair of Carved Ivory Maidens The two maidens are dressed as Geisha. The smaller figure which is 5-3/4" in height is enhanced by pigment that brings out the details of the carving. The larger maiden who carries an umbrella is 6-3/4" in height and very finely carved. She holds an umbrella in one hand and a fan in the other and she is also standing on a fan and signed on the bottom.

Two Japanese Kabuki dolls. One large and one small. Both dressed in embroidered robes. The larger dolls is holding an umbrella and the smaller one a samisen. See images for details. Both in generally good condition but for hairline cracks on both doll's necks some damage to the left hand of the smaller doll and some breaking of the umbrella and fading of the robes on the larger doll. Larger doll measures 13.5'' tall x 7.75'' wide including base and the smaller one is 9'' tall x 4.75'' wide including base. Shipping weight 1.3 lbs.
