DOUBLE BARRELED PISTOL, GOLD PLATED
DOUBLE BARRELED PISTOL, GOLD PLATED A gold-plated, double barreled, percussion-lock pistol evidently manufactured in Germany. While no exacty manufacturers mark can be found over the chambers of the two barrels is written in German "Ich wurde verfertiget auf Marienschlos Greb." Beyond the writing the octagon-to-round barrels are engraved with floral patterns down the rib between them as well as some scales engraved around the muzzles. The trigger guard and pommel are also gold-plated with a sunburst engraved onto the trigger guard. The wood furniture has fine wrap-around checkering on the grip as well as some spirals carved along the channel for the ramrod. The pistol is in overall alright condition with some wormholes throughout the wooden furniture, a large crack just behind the left lockplate, and heavy corrosion in both chambers. Only the left hammer engages with its sears while the right hammer pivots freely.

German Double Rifle by John Springer .450 X .3.25'' black powder 26'' barrels S/N 9352. Finely engraved rounded action with engraved back-action locks with hammers. Engraving on this double rifle is of the highest quality very small scroll style engraving. Maker's name engraved in banners on the side locks Joh Springer Erben In Wien. Serial numbers are hand-engraved in the bottom tang. Open sights with a claw mount for scope. Finished in browned barrels and case colored action locks hammers triggerguard. Very fine checkered pistol grip buttstock with cheek piece and steel engraved buttplate with cartridge holder. Full checkered forearm with take down lever. Condition: Barrels retain most of the original browned finish. Top lever and firing pins have all of its high polished blue finish. Locks frame hammers upper tang and triggerguard retain all of the case hardened colors just slightly thinned. Buttplate retains most of the case colors just slightly thinned. Buttstock has some hand-painted numbers in the stock. Buttstock has some very minor nicks and dings. There are two small scratches in the checkering on the pistol grip on the left side. Forearm is in excellent condition. Bores are excellent.

Both pistols retain 98% of the original??case colors ?and?both retain most of the high blue finish on the furniture.? Stocks are almost mint with a nice honey color.? Checkering is mint and crisp.? One pistol has the hammer broken off.

GORGEOUS GERMAN BOX-LOCK SHOTGUN, 12 GAUGE A beautiful, side by side double barrel shotgun by an unmarked and unnamed maker. The firearm features two round barrels in a deep blue finish with a solid rib, single bead sight, and floral engraving at the mouth of the chamber. These are fitted to an intricately engraved receiver with scroll work and floral designs, also featuring the safety marking inlaid in silver into the tang. The buttstock has fine checkering to the pistol grip with a raised cheekrest on the left-hand side. The trigger guard and buttplate are carved horn. While the shotgun is in overall good aesthetic condition with only some minor dings and cracks on the wood furniture, it does have some mechanical issues. The gun is set up for ejectors although they only function as extractors currently, the exact issue causing it is unclear. S/N: 7743, Caliber: 12 GA (2 3/4"), BBL: 30", LoP: 14".
