Cast gilt metal frame with wide floral border adorned with a pair of cherubs holding floral garlands at the top green velvet liner and central oval gilt metal fillet; hinged back support also fit to hang on the wall. Unsigned. Portrait measures apprx. 3-1/4" x 2-1/2" and overall framed apprx. 7-1/4" x 5-1/2". Verso impressed with "45". Probably after a painting by Rudolf Wilhelm August Lehmann (1819-1905)
