A rare engraved Jacobite portrait airtwist wine glass c.1750 the round funnel bowl engraved the bust profile of Prince Charles Edward Stuart in a garland the reverse with a rose and thistle set on a single series stem and a conical foot 6.75ins Estimate ?2 000-3 000 Provenance: Ex-Ben Fawkes Collection and thence by descent There is the odd scratch to the bowl there is some yellow discolouration to the top of the stem otherwise the glass appears to be in good condition. There is a join line visible between the bowl and the stem this fan be detected by running a nail over the area and noticing a definite lip.
