  A Hand Decorated Porcelain Cabinet Cup and Saucer. The elaborately styled cup has a pedestal base and a scrolling handle with an acanthus shape at the base and a classical mask inside the curve of the top. The pieces are decorated with Gothic architectural details on a pink ground and the interior of the cup is a pale yellow ground, all with gilt accents. The cup has a panel at the front with an interior scene of a man selling a game bird to a woman seated in her kitchen. Both pieces have a blue mark on the underside that reads "Sevre" (no s at the end) surrounded with scrolls and with a fleur de lis above. Cup approx. 3-5/8"H, handle approx. 5"H saucer approx. 6-1/4"D.

• A Silver-Gilt Mounted Porcelain Cup
  A Silver-Gilt Mounted Porcelain Cup and Saucer By John Angell, ca. 1827 The lobbed shape molded porcelain cup and saucer have a relief design around the outside of tiny white flowers on branches. The flowers are surrounded by a lusterous chocolate brown glaze. The cup and the saucer both have silver gilt mounts on the interior with incised geometric borders at the lip and the saucer has flower designs incised inside as well, marked by a London silversmith, ca. 1827. The cup also has a silver-gilt base and the handle molded in twig form. The saucer measures approx. 4-1/4"D and the cup approx. 2-3/8"D x 1-7/8"H.

Saucer dish has a good ring to it some minor scratching and scuffing to the glaze and enamels underside of the dish has a 4cm long glaze crack which does not appear to show through to the other side there is some minor shallow chipping on the inside of the foot rim in one area which has been overglaze in manufacture and other typical minor firing imperfections. The cup has been broken in three sections and re-stuck the crack is stained and very visible with some splintering to the glaze around it.
