CHINESE YELLOW GROUND FAMILLE ROSE DISH,ROC PERIOD A Chinese yellow ground famille rose dish, dating from the Republic period. Small and elegant dish with central circle design on the bottom of tree with red blossoms and a hanging lantern, within a gilt red circle. Eight designs with vases and other auspicious objects with ribbons surround the circle. gold rim on edge with Ruyi pattern under it D. 3 7/8" (9.8 cm) Provenance: collection of Raymond G. 18th century Chinese export famille rose porcelain plates and serving bowl. Includes twelve hand decorated 9'' plates and a 9.75'' wide serving bowl. All pieces with colors of red orange gilt green yellow blue etc. Condition: wear from age and use minor rim chips no major damages see images. Bowl measures 4.75'' tall. Shipping weight 13.2 lbs. (UPDATED THURS OCT 20TH - Two plates have rim flakes the rest have roughness on the edges dings - fleabite type. There are two with hairlines inside the foot rim on the underside where the hairline shows faintly through the plate. There are two with very minor hairlines in the same area that do not show through to the plate design. We've posted new images of the worst damage we could find.)

CHINESE YELLOW GROUND FAMILLE ROSE BOWL,ROC PERIOD A Chinese yellow ground famille rose bowl, dating from the Republic Period. Beautiful scrolling pink flowers surround the yellow bowl, with a turquoise and pink band around the base. Turquoise glazed interior. The oval shaped bowl has a crown like edging with little creature head on each of the long sides. Square red character stamp on the white porcelain recessed base. Accompanied by an oval stand with multiple leaf inspired feet.
