  VICTORIAN 14K GOLD BRACELET/WATCHPart of an estate collection of Victorian jewelry, much of which is offered in today's sale. This 49.8-gram piece is dated to the 1860s. This heavy, intricate and extraordinary piece consists of a bracelet made of many short sections of different diameter 14K gold tubes joined together giving extreme flexibility. In the center is a raised oval setting with an inset glass window protecting a small picture of a young woman.The frame around the picture has niello decoration, and midway down the band is a pair of gold chain fringe clusters. The picture frame is hinged at the bottom and when lifted discloses a watch (not tested). The frame had been set with very tiny seed pearls, of which 8 are missing. Others show wear. No other wear or damage apparent. The piece is stamped 14K in several places. There is a chain safety catch. Otherwise fine condition. See images for details.
