Blue/case color finish checkered walnut stocks double-set triggers horn triggerguard and grip cap; Greener-style safety cocking indicators; flip-up rear sight added Pachmayr pad. Condition: Very good condition with excellent bores. This gun has had an older professional quality refinish and retains ca 100% of the case colors and ca 90+% barrel blue with scattered light rust overall. The wood is very good with many light dings and scratches.

German Schuetzen Rifle by Ed. Girtn Kaufbeuren with London Proof 8.15x46 cal. 29'' barrel S/N 5514. Raised relief carved and checkered walnut stocks with an ivory oval on the right side relief engraved receiver panels gold and silver inlays on top of barrel rear peep sight double- set triggers Martini-style action London proofs on barrel and receiver. Condition: Very good condition with a very good bore. The front sight insert is present but damaged missing the post and wings. The ramrod is missing and the receiver is void of finish. This gun is a work of art with full coverage engraving featuring a woman with a chalice in her hand on the left panel and scenes depicting cherubs in various activities on the rest of the receiver. The stocks are good to very good with several dings and scratches.

The receiver has been nicely restored with vivid case colors and the barrel retains ca 95% original blue finish.

German Schuetzen Target Rifle 8.15x46R cal. 29.5" octagonal barrel with .50" flat front sight.?Front ramp sight with ears; rear tang sight missing the center aperture.?Beautifully engraved frame with vines leaves and cupids.?Martini-style action. Double-set triggers. Walnut stock and forearm fleurs de lis checkering with beautiful carving on the left side of stock of a stag running.?On the left side of barrel is marked Guss and on the opposite side is marked Stahl. Condition: Barrel retains about 79% of the original blue finish mixing with some brown spots probably caused by storage. Should clean to very nice. Action is very sharp and crisp with a mottled grey look. Buttstock and forearm are excellent with minimal nicks and dings. Bore is excellent.
