  A Baroque Provincial Style Gilt Framed Mirror The carved wood frame with French provincial elements has an arched top and rectangular opening, with panels of mirrored sections inset between carved flowers. The outer frame is also carved and has foliate corner ornaments and there is a large pierced ornament at the top. Overall it measures approx. 22-1/4"H x 16"W, and is finished in an "Impressionist" finish with heavy rubbing and antiquing that reveals the red clay under-layer and a small amount of gilt beneath.
