Longcase clock by Benjamin Greening of Chepstow, Early 19th Century Square enameled dial with Roman numerals and every 5 seconds marked, with calendar date, signed on the dial. Squared hood with hinged glass front, flanked by two simple columns and swan neck bonnet. Central turned finial (may not be original), is removable. Body with arched hinged wood door, with marquetry of a shell. Square base of plain design, which is what the family is know for in their case clocks. Apprx. 6'-8"T x 19-1/4"W (at hood) x 9-1/2"D.
