Late 19th century. 2nd item: East Tennessee stoneware crock, Grindstaff pottery. Incised band spacing below rim, tapered base edge, and applied lug handles typical for Grindstaff's work. Glaze with a heavy salt application, resembling a green hue. 6" H x 7" dia. Late 19th century. Provenance: Descendant of Grinstaff on maternal side of family, Blount Co., TN.
