Glass sides loose, scattered surface abrasions and losses, possibly original surface. Estate of the Late Mary F. Kessler, Tryon, North Carolina.

GERMAN GUSTAV BECKER WALL CLOCK: German-made Gustav Becker weight & cable-driven regulator wall clock in elaborately carved wood case. Brass hardware includes weights, pendulum, and winding key. Enameled face has hand-painted roman numerals and three winding holes. Back of clock movement bears engraved ''Gustav Becker'' trademark stamp & ''Medaille d'Or'' award mark. An engraved serial number 615968 dates this clock circa 1885-1890. Approx. 48.5'' h x 16.25'' w x 7'' d.
