FRENCH BRACKET CLOCK & STANDA French Louis XV style Lacquered bracket clock and stand. 8-day time and strike movement stamped "H & F, Paris, 620", porcelain dial with blue Roman numerals, with pendulum and key. Ogee shape clock with red tortoise and black lacquer veneer in the boulle style, brass inlay at the front side, raised on a separate platform stand. The square plate beneath the finial is not flat; brass trim is rippling in several pieces and is lifting at the lower left corner of the front side; the catch on the door does not extend enough to close it completely. Several losses to the stand's veneer, as well as the brass. Not running when catalogued. Clock, 14 1/2" high; the stand 9 x 2 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $600-1,000
Condition:
The square plate beneath the finial is not flat; brass trim is rippling in several pieces and is lifting at the lower left corner of the front side; the catch on the door does not extend enough to close it completely. Several losses to the stand's veneer, as well as the brass. Not running when catalogued.

French brass lantern clock, face with enameled numerals below oval medallion "JB Duchesne Paris", hours and seconds marked on dial, brass works, probably a 19th century copy of 18th century clock, 13-3/4 in. Door slightly bent, finials at top of case repaired, top slightly loose (does not fit well), lacking key and pendulum. Estate of the Late Dr. John Rison Jones, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama. All proceeds to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund, Huntsville Museum of Art.

FRENCH CHAMPLEVE CLOCK 7 ½" x 3" Desk clock in the form of a pocket watch, time only, cylinder escapement, with a porcelain dial,
arabic numerals for all chapters, all minute hash marks represented as dots on edge of the dial. A floral garland design highlights the interior of the dial. Gold gilt Louis XV type minute/hour hands.
Enamel is applied on brass, the material of the entire clock. French cut crystal brilliants surround the edge of the bezel, watch case and moveable bow.
