SIDNEY R. HUTTER BLUE ART GLASS SQUAT VASE Illinois, Massachusetts,b. 1954Squat vase with cobalt and light blue swirls. Hutter received a M.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Arts in Boston in 1979, originally trained in hot glass techniques he was greatly influenced by cubism, constructivism, and Bauhaus. To insure his work maintained a geometric quality, Hutter studied drafting at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1979-1980 and implemented what he studied into his work.
