Hans Kleiber (German/American,
Hans Kleiber (German/American, 1887-1967), "Mallard Drake in Summer, Green River Lake", watercolor; 11" x 10 3/4"; signed lower right. Hans Kleiber was born in Cologne, Germany and died in Dayton, Wyoming. In 1907, he entered the US Forestry Service as a Ranger. In 1924, he devoted his life to art and was known as a traditional Western etcher, painter, and illustrator.
