The Daphne 40 is 3/4 the size of the Concert Grand, featuring the same stainless steel action and fluid pedal mechanism as those found in their full size models.

Louis XVI satinwood harp, finely carved and gilt satinwood painted with landscape scenes and musical reserves, top with fine acanthus and wreath and ribbon carving, classical female bust, neck stamped twice "Naderman, Paris" (Jean Henri Naderman, 1734-1799), paper label dated 1791 for Naderman inside sounding board, 64 x 31 x 22 in. (including pedal). Scattered chips and losses to carved elements, cracks and separations at seams, repairs and some loss at joint with neck and sounding board, pest damage and some losses to base, other cracks, wear and minor losses.
