Surrounded by Oak leaves and acorns. Black enameled wooden base with gilt rosettes. The case is gold gilt bronze using the mercury evaporative technique. The movement has a cord suspension, which was popular from 1840 thru 1860. The clock runs as well as chimes (hour/half-hour), but will require a simple strip and clean as nothing has been done as far as maintenance for decades. Mated to lot 387.
