Three of the four outer corners have tiny folds with some associated fraying. The full sheet, in fair overall condition, unframed, matted, with two tape pieces top edge verso affixed to mat, and with photographers stamp on verso. Recto and verso, there is some toning to some of outer edges of sheet, mostly at left and bottom. At left edge, the toning is most pronounced, with areas of brown spotty discoloration. Some tiny surface splits along some of the outer edges of sheet. Outer edges curling slightly.

Herbert Bayer (April 5, 1900-September 30, 1985) was an Austrian and American graphic designer, painter, photographer, sculptor, art director, environmental and interior designer, and architect, who was widely recognized as the last living member of the Bauhaus and was instrumental in the development of the Atlantic Richfield Company's corporate art collection until his death in 1985.

(47.9 x 50.5cm) Generally good condition, unframed, matted with three tape pieces top edge verso affixed to mat, and with photographers stamp on verso. The full sheet, with margins as issued. It appears the sheet may have been framed, because there are some small, brownish impression marks in parts of margins, indicative of where a frame may have been. Three outer corners of sheet with tiny folds and associated fraying; one outer corner with a surface split (i.e. top glossy paper is missing, revealing the non-glossy ground). A series of tiny surface splits in the glossy ground along outer right edge. Some minor handling creases and outer edges curling upward slightly.

Some visible creasing and minor crinkling at/near lower right corner and some additional minor handling creases. The bottom edge, and to a much lesser degree the top edge, are curled upward. The sheet has two tape pieces top edge verso affixed to undermat, and is matted, unframed. Some surface craquelure and some surface scratches.

The beautiful young woman in country garb gazes up with an ambiguous expression just having read from the paper she holds. Depicted realistically in front of a brick wall and a barred window in juxtaposition to her angelic face.
