(sight) From Illustrations of British Ornithology Selby's important publication which was the first British natural history publication to illustrate birds in their natural size. Selby studied with Audubon in 1826 in Edinburgh Scotland. Condition: Minor creasing of paper along left margin. Slight discoloration of paper near margins.

The feet are heavy metal wire with the ends stripped for the talons. Mounted on a concrete base and in as-found, weathered condition. Mid 20th century. H: 39.5”
