A dramatic and extremely rare half-size heron carving with outstretched wings mounted on a piece of driftwood. The driftwood is mounted on an oval base which signed and dated "Gilley 1966." The wings and tail display fine incised carving detail.
Original paint with light wear including minor flaking to feet.
