Cornice front corner chips; side panel shrinkage cracks.

CHEST WITH HEARTA six-board pine
CHEST WITH HEARTA six-board pine blanket box in oxidized dark green paint and having an original painted white heart on the front, all in a finely crazed surface. Complete with a simple bracket base and an interior till with lid. Wheeler estate, Tamworth, Ontario, circa 1850.
